Box traffic growth surprises Aarhus
Despite only recently completing its new East Quay container terminal development, the Port of Aarhus finds itself in the position of looking for more land to cater for growth. Container traffic has risen 14% so far this year compared to 8% average last year. At 427,000 TEU, the 2006 figure accounted for 65% of all Danish o/d container traffic.
