Two key figures in the Kenyan transport sector have stepped down over the past month. The managing director of Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), Abdallah Mwaruwa, has been dismissed following congestion problems at the Port of Mombasa, and a number of other senior KPA officials are also likely to lose their jobs.
