ICTSI preferred bidder for Durban box terminal
NewsICTSI has beat out competition from eight other global terminal operators to emerge as the preferred bidder for a 25-year concession to operate DCT Pier 2 in Durban, South Africa.
SPARCS N4 milestone
South African ports and Zebra Enterprise Solutions, a division of Zebra Technologies, have achieved what is heralded as an international milestone when Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) “became the first port operator worldwide poised to manage the Navis SPARCS N4 terminal operating system from a central location across 21 marine and rail terminals.”
