DP World wins SBTI validation for its carbon reduction goals
NewsDP World has obtained validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its carbon reduction targets.
Sines bucks the trend
Bucking the national Portuguese and wider European trend, Sines handled 11% more cargo last year than in 2011, with traffic reaching 28.6 Mt. The port entered the European ports “Top 25” list for the first time, overtaking Dublin and Gdansk and, in terms of ports in the Iberian Peninsula, it is neck and neck with Huelva and just 1 Mt short of Bilbao.
