Russia’s Summa Group is understood to have begun construction of a new harbour at Zarubino on Trinity Bay in the RFE, just 20 km from the land borders with North Korea and China. The new harbour could eventually have four terminals along 3000m of quay frontage, for containers (up to 1 M TEU/year), ro-ro (500,000 units/year), general and bulk cargoes (40 Mtpa) and grain (10 Mtpa).
