Hamburg green incentives

The Port of Hamburg is to offer “Green Award” incentives to oil tankers, product and chemicals tankers and LNG carriers. Ships with Green Award certificates will be entitled to a 3% rebate on port charges in the Port of Hamburg, following the decision of Hamburg Port Authority to join the Green Award Foundation (GAF), the Rotterdam-based NGO led by Jan Fransen.
