French ports look to rail

Konecranes’ wide and deep spread of cargo and material handling equipment has put it in ‘fine fettle’ in the important Brazilian market. Recently, it delivered two large Gottwald Generation 6 model ESP.8 mobile harbour cranes to CMA Terminals do Brasil, a new customer, in the port of Fortaleza.

Siemens Crane Competence Center for the Europe Middle East and Africa region based in Portugal has now carried out modernisation and digitisation work on 100 port cranes in 13 countries. Currently the company is working on projects in the ports of Leixões and Setúbal, Portugal, Taranto (Italy) and Salalah (Oman).
