Yilport buys Portugal’s Tertir group

Istanbul-based Yilport Holding is spending approximately €275M to buy the port management and logistics activities of Portugalbased Grupo Tertir. The move, which will increase Yilport’s annual handling capacity by 2.7M TEU of containers and 4.5 Mt of general and dry bulk cargo, is further evidence of its desire to become one of the world’s leading terminal operating companies.
