Hapag-Lloyd Q1 2024 revenues decrease
NewsHapag-Lloyd’s Q1 2024 saw a Group EBITDA of US$942M, a decline in EBIT to US$396M, and profit to US$325M, despite a 6.8% rise in transport volumes to 3M TEU.
Westwood leaves port of Portland
US Carrier Westwood Shipping has ceased its monthly service connecting the port of Portland in Oregon to Japan and South Korea. Westwood was Portland’s last container liner shipping service, after Hanjin Shipping and Hapag-Lloyd withdrew last year.
