Port of Oakland, NWSA join FLOW
NewsThe Port of Oakland and NWSA have joined the FLOW initiative, which now includes the largest US container ports and major ocean carriers.
The Port of Oakland has concluded a deal with TraPac to allow it to expand into part of the Outer Harbor Terminal (OHT) left vacant when Ports America Outer Harbor Terminal filed for bankruptcy in February this year, leaving empty its two leaseholds covering berths 20-26. The port and TraPac have agreed terms that will allow TraPac to expand its footprint from 66 acres to approximately 123 acres, with an initial term of 14 years.
