24/7 working in Dar

The Tanzanian Government has instructed customs offices and other state bodies at the port of Dar es Salaam to start working 24/7, in order to improve efficiency at the port. Accurate figures have not yet been released, but it appears that cargo volumes have increased more quickly than expected at the port over the past six months. Day/night operation would be very beneficial in any case, but the surge in demand seems to have pushed the government into action.
