A recovery in trading prospects means that DP World could resurrect its development plans for a fourth container terminal at Jebel Ali next year. The more than US$1.5B project was postponed in 2016, while planned expansion work at its T3 facility was deferred, as growth prospects in the container market eased. In the Middle East region, a significant amount of new container handling capacity was also being added.
