China’s leading port companies report strong profits

China Merchants Ports (CMP) and Cosco Shipping Ports (CSP), which are China’s two leading operators of international container terminals, have both posted strong fiscal results for H1 2018. Compared with the same period of 2017, CMP’s net profit increased more than 73%, while CSP’s rose by 70%.
