Deeper Durban set to go

Transnet’s chief capital officer, Krishna Reddy, has said that the R7B (US$462B) project to deepen Pier 2’s North Quay (Berths 203 to 205) at Durban Container Terminal to accommodate the latest generation container vessels is ready to start, and completion is scheduled for 2023.
