Opentop, the open innovation hub of Fundación Valenciaport, with the support of Telefónica Open Future, has commenced its first incubation programme with four start-ups

They selected start-ups, from a shortlist of 12, selected from 50 candicacies, are:

  • Metric Salad – its MetaPort solution is an extended reality product that allows ports to make their activities known through interactive and immersive activities (showrooms, 360º contents, augmented reality, etc.)
  • Desafío en Azul – its Recontainer is a single use container made 100% from recyclable and sustainable materials, to address container trade imbalances and reduce EC flows. (This was the challenge from TransBase Soler).
  • We Are Lab – its Nereidas Valenciaport project is aimed at regenerating marine biodiversity in ports through artificial reefs created by 3D Printing using Biochar, the only material that comes from biomass with a negative carbon footprint.
  • Code Contract – its Trackline is a digital solution that coordinates every stakeholder of the chain requesting and collecting information in an automated way. Every action is registered in a blockchain network in order to guarantee the immutability of the data.
