Quadriga sailing ship for cars
A team of Hamburg-based maritime entities, including Sailing Cargo, Peter Döhle Schiffahrt KG, Dykstra Naval Architects, SDC Shipdesign & Consultant GmbH, Hamburgische Schiffbau Versuchsanstalt (Hamburg Ship Modal Basin), North Sails GmbH, Discovery Communication, Inc and Lloyd’s Register (LR) plans to build a four-masted cargo sailing ship, with the ability to transport 1,700-2,000 cars.
