IDENTEC Solutions to install Reefer Runner at Beira

Amid reports of lower cargo volumes across much of Sub-Saharan Africa because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Mozambican port of Beira has surprisingly recorded a big increase in total cargo volumes for 2020

Germany-based akquinet has announced a partnership with IDENTEC Solutions that enables IDENTEC’s reefer monitoring system, CTAS Reefer, to
connect to akquinet’s data analytics module.

The government of Mozambique has extended Cornelder’s concession to manage the Port of Beira in Sofala Province by 10 years. It was due to expire in 2023 but will now run until 2033
