Houston-based Intermarine and sister company Jumbo-SA Heavy Lift-Alliance (JSA) are opening a new office in Santiago (Chile) as part of their expansion plans in Latin America.

Hamburg-based SAL Heavy Lift and its partner Shanghai Salvage (China) have agreed a deal to long-term charter two new semi-submersible deck carriers, ZHONG REN 121 and ZHONG REN 122. The ships will enter service between December 2023 and February 2024 and they will be marketed through the Jumbo SAL Alliance.
