New offtake deal propels Maersk to meet over half of its 2027 methanol demand
NewsMaersk has secured combined offtake agreements that now meet over 50% of the projected demand for its dual-fuel methanol vessels in 2027.
The collaboration between the two companies will lead to what is claimed to be the first dual fuel hydrogen gensets for marine applications. The first customer is Damen Shipyards, which has ordered three gensets for CSOVs it is building for Windcat
