Crane builders look to diversification
Crane manufacturers are increasing capacity in response to strong demand, but diversified facilities are important in a market that may have peaked. Forecasting demand for quayside container cranes is a difficult job as projects have long lead times and port capacity is not added in a linear fashion, making macroindustry figures an unreliable guide.
