Hydrogen RTG takes a bow
NewsThe “world’s first hydrogen fuel cell-powered rubber-tyred gantry” could be a better zero-emissions option for terminal operators at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach than ERTGs.
Terex Noell Crane Systems (China) Ltd, majority-owned (70%) by Terex Port Solutions, has received an order worth US$40M from PTP Tanjung Pelepas for 26 RTGs.
This is Noell China’s biggest single order ever for RTGs and they will be driven fully-electrically from the main grid. PTP has an option to order 32 more ERTGs in the next eight months
