Port crane on the move

Combi Lift GmbH, a member of the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) network in Germany, has successfully moved a port crane from Rhenus Wilhelmshaven to Steelwind Nordenham.

The main body of the crane drove on rails from the pier to Combi Lift’s deck carrier MV PAPENBURG. The crane’s boom and other auxiliaries were lifted on board by shore cranes. The unloading in Nordenham was handled by Steelwind’s shore cranes. The crane weighed 520t with its jib and counterweights removed.
