Marcor takes delivery of LHM 800e crane

Marcor, the Rotterdam-based stevedore and terminal operating company, has taken delivery of its first Liebherr LHM 800e mobile harbour crane.

The crane, which will be commissioned in the coming weeks, will be deployed in the company’s Steinweg Hartel terminal which handles dry bulk, bagged and containerised cargoes. It features a 64m outreach, can process up to 2,300t of loose bulk cargo an hour, is fully electric and has several of Liebherr’s innovative assistance systems installed on it.

 

The crane, which is the largest and most powerful in Liebherr’s range of MHCs, was delivered to the terminal by the vessel BRAVEWIND with all operations coordinated by freight forwarder UWL.

 

Marcor is due to add a second crane by the end of 2024.Marcor is fully owned by the C Steinweg Group.
