Hydrogen RTG takes a bow

Bharat Mumbai Container Terminals Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of PSA International Pte Ltd, has ordered 18 RTGs and four RMGs, with an option for 18 more RTGs. All the machines will be built at TPS's plant in Xiamen, China.
The RTGs will be handed over in three batches of six between September and November 2017 and the RMGs will be delivered in September 2017. The RMGs will be deployed in BMCT's railyard, which works doublestack container trains up to 1500m long.
BMCT will be the second Indian subsidiary of PSA to operate cranes from TPS. In 2015, four RTGs were put into operation by Bharat Kolkata Container Terminals Pte Ltd.
