BASF SE, the world’s largest chemical industry group, and Belgian tank container manufacturer Van Hool NV, have jointly developed a new 45ft tank container that has now received all necessary approvals. Combined with a new rail car, the tanktainer offers a number of advantages compared with classic railway tank wagons.
