Meanwhile, in Georgia, the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA) has announced a funding package of US$19.7M to develop the new inland terminal at Chatsworth, in the Appalachian region of Georgia – a development it first announced in 2015. US$10M is coming from the state of Georgia, and US$9.7M from the GPA. Murray County, where the terminal will be built, purchased the land for US$700,000 and deeded the site to the GPA.
