Kalmar robot test facility
Kalmar has designed and built a state-of-the-art automation test facility to help integrate its intelligent applications with its customers’ container handling equipment and terminal operating systems. Located in Kalmar’s Tampere plant, the installation will initially test the automation and control systems developed for HHLA’s conversion of most of Container Terminal Burchardkai (CTB) from straddle carriers to automated stacking cranes (ASCs).
