Zurich-headquartered Nexxiot, which is a leading supplier of asset intelligence solutions and Pasadena (CA)-based COAST Autonomous, Inc. (COAST), which offers AI and autonomous systems for industrial applications, have agreed a strategic partnership to improve efficiency, security, and safety in logistics operations.
Hapag-Lloyd, which is leading the liner shipping industry when it comes to fitting smart devices to its dry freight containers, is pressing ahead with its installation programme. It expects the whole of its 1.6M TEU owned fleet to be smart early in 2024. Already more than 80% of its reefer containers are fitted with devices that in addition to tracking the container’s position, monitor temperature and humidity levels inside the equipment.
Hapag-Lloyd, which is leading the liner shipping industry when it comes to fitting smart devices to its dry freight containers, has announced that the majority of its fleet will be smart by the beginning of next year.
Deloitte, the large financial auditing and advisory company and Nexxiot, a leading supplier of tracking devices for the rail and container shipping sectors, have established a strategic partnership that they hope will pave the way for greater levels of digitalisation while improving efficiency and building resilience across supply chains.
