As part of its “Smart Port Initiative”, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), together with the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA), have issued a “call for proposals” (CFP) for B2B Apps that enhance maritime logistics operations, shiptoshore communications, and remote monitoring of marine operations from shore.
The MPA will cofund development out of a pool of S$2M (US$1.45M).
More specifically, the MPA is looking for Apps that support ordering of port services and supplies, vessel performance monitoring, video on demand social networking, mesh networking, and tracking of sensors. The latter includes CCTV technologies and wearable technologies.
The MPA is seeking CFPs by 30 June and will announce the grant awards in January 2016.
