IMO set to tackle overweight boxes

The Maritime Safety Committee of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has agreed to a proposal from the Netherlands, Denmark and Australia to address the issue of misdeclared container weights and to take other measures to improve the safety of container stowage and ship operations.
