Container desiccants may have been in use for more than 30 years, but their manufacture still attracts its share of innovation. They are invaluable in mopping up the airborne moisture trapped within a sealed container and so preventing it from precipitating as condensation or container “rain” as internal temperatures fluctuate. This, in turn, protects cargo from spoilage or even ruination.
