Swedish Army ups Klinge reefer order

Following the delivery and extensive testing of a prototype unit last year (see WorldCargo News October 2012, p17), the Swedish Defence Material Administration (Forsvars Materialverk – FMV) has almost doubled the size of its contract for a new design of reefer container booked with US-based Klinge Corporation.

As previously reported, an initial contract was placed with Klinge for the supply of 60 self-powered reefer containers. FMV has now ordered an additional 50 units, boosting the contract value to over US$9M.
