New LEDs for cranes

Phoenix Products Company has introduced its next generation series of LED floodlights, the EcoMod 2 Series. The original EcoMod Series LED floodlights were launched in 2013, and are now in service on 500 cranes in ports and intermodal terminals on six continents.

As LED lighting becomes more and more common in residential and commercial applications, people almost expect to see it on any modern industrial development. Ports are no exception, and low energy lighting has emerged as one of the most common sustainability initiatives at container terminals.

Phoenix Products Company Inc has been chosen to supply LED light fixtures for several new cranes at the Port of Oslo. Konecranes is manufacturing two STS cranes that will all contain a full LED lighting package including Phoenix EcoMod 300 and 450 LED floodlights as well as Phoenix’s 13W Cube-Light for access way lighting.
