Kone Corporation taking over Partek
As this issue was going to press, it looked as though Kone Corporation had succeeded in taking control of Partek (and thereby Kalmar Industries, Bromma, Multilift, Cargotec, Valtra, etc), with the Finnish state, Partek’s biggest shareholder, swinging behind Kone’s cash offer of €225 mill (€15.3 per share) for its 30.2 percent stake.
