Argentina to invest USD 550 million in grain port
NewsArgentina ranks among the world’s leading grain exporters, with numerous ports lining the banks of the Parana River for the shipment of agricultural products.
A new controversy has hit the Port of Buenos Aires after a Coast Guard (PNA) permit for a 243m long container vessel to call at Murchison’s Terminal Zaraté (TZ), located 100 kms upstream on the deeper Paraná River, was suddenly revoked without a clear explanation. It is alleged that the PNA was “got at” by a Buenos Aires port operator.
