APMT puts vacuum mooring to the test

Mooring Systems of New Zealand has installed two of its MoorMaster 400 shore-based 40,000 kg vacuum mooring stations at the Port of Salalah in Oman through its European partner Cavotec. The units were built at Cavotec’s facilities and tested over two weeks in Oman for both Salalah Port Services (SPS) and APM Terminals (APMT), which are evaluating the results.
