Terminal operators lining up for Bay Terminal, AD Ports signs MoU
NewsAbu Dhabi Ports Group has signed an MoU for part of the new Bay Terminal at the port of Chattogram; PSA and DP World are also expected to participate.
DPW building Vietnam terminal
Construction work has started on DP World’s US$230M Saigon Premier Container Terminal (SPCT) near Ho Chi Minh City. The four-berth SPCT will be operated by Saigon Central Container Port Co, in which DPW has 80% stake and Vietnam’s state-owned Tan Thuan Industrial Promotion Co 20% (see WorldCargo News, November 2005, p7).
