Hapag-Lloyd Q1 2024 revenues decrease
NewsHapag-Lloyd’s Q1 2024 saw a Group EBITDA of US$942M, a decline in EBIT to US$396M, and profit to US$325M, despite a 6.8% rise in transport volumes to 3M TEU.
In the past few years Mexico’s national programme for privatising port operations has produced substantial new investment in port facilities and in inland connections. Apart from improving facilities for Mexican-Far East container trades, the country’s Pacific ports can provide “redundancy” for the US market and reduce its dependency on the USWC ports range.
