TCB moving into Vietnam

Barcelona-based terminal group TCB has signed an agreement with the Vietnamese Tan Thuan Industrial Promotion Company (IPC) to build a container terminal at Hiep Phuoc Industrial Port, which is located to the south of Ho Chi Minh City. Investment will be in the order of US$235M.

On build-out, there will be 1450m of quay with a depth alongside of 12m. Up to 14 quay cranes will be purchased to enable a capacity of 2M TEU/year to be offered over the 90 hectare facility.
