Hamburg completes Vorhafen project

Amidst the disappointments over the Leipzig Court ruling on the Elbe dredging and the local injunction on the Westerweiterung (WorldCargo News, February 2017, p1), Hamburg has some good news to report. The port authority (HPA) has completed its two-year programme to improve the Vorhafen, the entrance to the Steinwerder terminals, on time and within budget of €94.2M
