Paceco delivers four Portainers to Yilport Liscont

News

The new STS cranes from Paceco’s parent company Mitsui E&S stack 22-across and were delivered fully-erect from the Oita Works in Japan

Yilport has entrusted Mitsui to build Paceco Portainer cranes for various concessions in Turkey (Gemlik), South America (Puerto Bolivar) and Europe, where three cranes have already been to Gävle in Sweden.

The cranes for Liscont have a SWL of 66 tonnes and a waterside outreach of 62m, enabling the terminal to handle much bigger vessels. They are fitted with Mitsui E&S drive controls.

The delivery has been made by Paceco Group, comprising Mitsui (the group parent), US-based Paceco Corp and Paceco Momentum from Spain.

On arrival at the Liscont Terminal, a large technical and service team from Paceco Momentum and Mitsui E&S Machinery took care of the unloading operations of the four cranes, as well as of the jack-up operation and electrical commissioning.

Yilport is aiming to attract calls by ships up to 14,000 TEU at Liscont, which is now controls outright.
