In a report to the US Department of Homeland Secur ity (DHS)’s policy branch, which is drafting a new national strategy for global supply chain security, the Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of Customs and Border Protection (COAC) has called for a repeal of laws requiring 100% scanning of ocean and air cargo bound for the US.
