Scanners for Nigeria

Scanners are to be deployed by the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) at the ports of Apapa, Onne and Tin Can Island to speed up cargo processing. Nigeria’s ports have long suffered from congestion for a variety of reasons, including a lack of port capacity and congested access roads, but also because of slow inspections. At present, customs officials are required to inspect all containers manually.
