Portchain, a Danish provider of berth alignment and planning software for container terminals and carriers, has announced the inclusion of the 100th terminal in the Portchain Connect Network.

The 100th addition to the Portchain Connect Network joins other terminals across the globe such as South Carolina Ports, Tanger Alliance, DP World Antwerp, Shekou Container Terminals, Hanjin Busan Newport, Port Houston, DP World Santos, Ports & Cargo Handling Services Limited, Piraeus Container Terminal, QTerminals, CSP Abu Dhabi, Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Co., EUROGATE Container Terminal Wilhelmshaven, and EVYAPPORT.

“As Founders of Portchain, we are immensely humbled and proud to announce a significant milestone on our journey: Reaching 100 container terminals on the Portchain Connect Network. These 100 terminals represent just over 20% of the world’s global container capacity. We will continue to work tirelessly to create value for the terminal and carrier network, and we want to thank every single terminal for trusting Portchain to digitize their berth alignment process. Together, we are reshaping the future of port operations and paving the way for enhanced efficiency, transparency, and sustainability. As we celebrate this milestone, we remain dedicated to driving continued growth and empowering even more terminals to optimize their operations with Portchain. Here’s to the next hundred terminals and beyond!”, said Niels Kristiansen, CEO & Co-founder, Anders Olivarius, CIO & Co-founder, and Thor Thorup, CCO & Co-founder of Portchain.

Thorup commented: “A hundred terminals deciding to join the Portchain Connect Network underscores the value and effectiveness of our solution in addressing the complex challenges of port operations. Portchain Connect empowers all 100 terminals in the Network to receive real-time updates directly from carrier systems, facilitating rapid response and counterproposals to align vessel schedules with terminal berth plans.”
