The Saudi Ports Authority, Mawani, introduced the Port Community System (PCS) under the “Logisti” framework, aiming to offer over 250 e-services at Saudi ports, bolstering the nation’s global logistics presence.

Omar Hariri, President of Mawani, emphasized the system’s use of technology to enhance maritime transport efficiency, streamline procedures, and foster the logistics sector.

PCS, launched during the LEAP24 conference, automates port operations, connects relevant entities for data exchange, and standardizes procedures, aligning with Smart Ports goals and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS) under Saudi Vision 2030. The initiative aims to solidify the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub.

The LEAP24 conference serves as a platform for tech innovators and investors, elevating Saudi Arabia’s technological standing.

Mawani’s Smart Ports initiative, launched in early 2022, accelerates fifth-generation technologies in logistics, positioning Saudi ports as leaders in modern technology adoption and enhancing regional and international competitiveness for traders and service users.
