Djibouti bidding for hub status

Dubai Ports International (DPI) is to invest US$300 mill to establish a new container terminal at Doraleh in the Port of Djibouti, in line with the Djibouti government’s openly stated plan to develop the port as an African hub by replicating Dubai port’s free zone model.
