A clampdown on drug trafficking has caused major congestion problems for all of the container terminal operators in Buenos Aires.

The crackdown, code-named Manzana Blanca (White Apple), was instigated after a record haul of 3400 kgs of cocaine was found in two containers.Investigators believe the cocaine originated in Bolivia and was loaded into containers in a reefer cargo warehouse in Argentina’s Rio Negro province.
