Port of Douala gridlocked

Cameroon’s largest port, Douala, is heavily congested as a spate of issues, including a significant slowdown in customs clearance procedures and disruption to handling operations as a result of refurbishment work taking place at Quay 14, have led to some ships having to wait a month to gain access to the berths.
