Delays at Douala

Delays of up to a month at the Cameroonian port of Douala have held up cocoa exports and prompted shipping line CMA CGM to impose surcharges of an undisclosed amount on cargo at the port. At the end of March, a statement from the French carrier said: “The situation in Douala unfortunately continues to deteriorate severely.”
