In late January, Containerships introduced a new weekly feeder service linking Dunkirk with Bristol and Liverpool. Asked about this at Dunkirk’s annual results conference, Daniel Deschodt, CCO and acting CEO, said the new service was not linked in any way to congestion at Felixstowe impeding that port’s gateway role.
